Ceramics Workshop

Participate in our captivating 2-hour slipcasting workshop and learn the basics of this fascinating technique. Throughout the session, you'll craft your own items using custom molds, exploring a spectrum of colored porcelain slips and decorate them with diverse tools and techniques.

Within this workshop, you'll have the opportunity to create two ceramic pieces.
Subsequently, the studio will complete these pieces by applying a transparent glaze and subjecting them to two firing sessions.
You can collect your completed work approximately two weeks after the workshop.

We operate within intimate groups, accommodating a maximum of 5 individuals. All are welcome to join, regardless of experience level – no prior expertise is required!

Key Details to Keep in Mind:

• Complimentary drinks and snacks will be available.
• All necessary materials will be supplied, including commonly used basic shapes and a variety of colored casting slips.
• While aprons will be furnished, it's recommended to wear suitable clothing for a ceramic workshop, considering the possibility of getting your clothes dirty during the creative process.
• The workshop is held in Dutch or English and will take place at Nobelstraat 16, 3512 EN in Utrecht.
